Mamacita (1A)

Mamacita is a 3 year old ewe who came to us from Dancing Apsen Farm outside of Kalispell, Montana!  When we were bringing the group back from Montana it was clear she was the leader of the flock - she is the eldest after all.  Even still after being 'home' for some time now the flock clearly regards her as their leader and will follow her as and when she thinks it's time to move.

This said, she's timid - still quite wary of me though she has recently begun to let me rub her nose a bit when giving treats - as long as the others aren't nearby making commotion.

Maggie (27D)

Maggie was born April 19, 2016.   She is such a beautiful girl with her mix of colors and warmed up to me quite quickly - being 3 months old when meeting probably helped. 

Maggie has turned into the most attention loving ewe we have so far.  She is always one of the first to come up when seeing me on the way over looking for attention.  If she feels she's not getting enough or attention soon enough she'll jump up and put her hooves on me like a dog as if to say - "Hey - I'm here!  Pet me!"

And pets she loves indeed - most especially her chest rubbed and her cheeks stroked - while she gazes into your eyes.  Her eyelashes are long and beautiful.

Maggie is also very spunky!  She is always running and jumping up on things - wriggling about in the air.   A real treat to watch play!

Nellie

Nellie is a daughter of Murray and Maggie and she definitely takes after both in terms of personality! Nellie love to engage with people and is an alpha in the flock. She is always the first one to come up when approached and will never say no to a treat or some scratches/snuggles.

Flora (A24)

Flora is a petite polled white ewe who joined us back in October 2017.  She is one of the more vocal ewes and has a wide array of 'calls' - some dainty, some not so much.  Her fleece is incredibly soft and she simply adores having her neck and chin rubbed up and down - stretching her neck up and out to make it easy and closing her eyes in bliss :)
