Hooks and Hops is a local group of makers from the Boulder/Denver area who love all things fiber arts (felting, spinning, knitting, embroidery, weaving and crochet to name a few)! We value community, making things by hand in small batches and the environment... as well as a good brew/vino/cuppa coffee! Supporting our local fiber farmers, fiber mills and retailers is a joy and we frequently incorporate recycled and repurposed material in our projects! Natural dyeing and using locally grown dye plants is a delight!
We meet weekly and host several workshops throughout the year to come together to create, inspire each other and learn new things!
We hope sharing our work with you, our neighbors, makes someone's day a bit brighter/more beautiful and perhaps inspires you to give one of the many forms of fiber arts a try too!
The Hooks and Hops Fiber Arts group has been around since 2016.
