Following lamb harvest (and/or the passing of any member of the flock) sheepskins are tanned and made available for purchase. Those who have purchased lamb for the table have first dibs on purchase and specific sheepskin selection, in the order in which their lamb for the table orders come in.

Any sheepskins remaining are then offered to the public!

As of 11/10/2021, the charges for sheepskins are as follows:

• Lamb for the table customers: $275 (pick up at the farm)

• Non-Lamb for the table customers: $300-$400 (pick up at the farm); price dependent on the sheepskin

Sheepskins can be expected within ~ 6 months following harvest but are dependent on weather (we need low humidity to salt and dry them properly) and the tannery’s schedule.
